You have multiple options for installing Message Manager:

• MSI
• DMG
• ZIP/TAR.GZ
• Launcher

MSI & DMG

This is the easiest and recommended option for Windows and macOS operating systems. The installer will install the product and add it to the startup group. By default, it will launch using the shipped Java 17.

ZIP/TAR.GZ

If you select this option, you must ensure that the launcher uses the correct Java executable/version. By default, it will use JAVA_HOME. If that is not set it will use whatever is available on the PATH.

Launcher

This option requires the least initial download (<300KB). The required files will automatically be downloaded on the first launch of the application.

You must ensure that the launcher uses the correct Java executable/version. By default, it will use JAVA_HOME. If that is not set it will use whatever is available on the PATH.
